Car accessories include the awesome add ons you are able to purchase once the car leaves the dealers lot. They can be just about anything you add to your car or truck after you pay for your new ride. There are many people out there that think car accessories are simply auto parts from their neighborhood tune up shop, but it goes way past that, as the car accessory culture can testify to.

If you'd like your car to be conservative and just blend in with the other cars on your commute, that is one thing. But, it is an entirely different matter to add accessories to your car to make it really special and to cause the Raised Eyebrow Syndrome (RES) in people.

If you hear some teenagers speaking about how something is "tricked out", they are most likely talking about a heavily modified car that they think is pretty cool. If you are someone that likes to feel that you are riding in the clouds, you could get a lift kit for your car or truck. Or perhaps the "lowrider" option is where you like to be with the car close to the street. Like to go fast? Want more horsepower? A turbo kit is one of the car accessories you would be looking to add.

One thing that I like is a custom horn. You can get car accessories such as an old-timer horn to add to even a newer model car if you want to. Are you aware that it is even possible to accessorize your car or truck with technology that makes it possible for the car to parallel park for you if you suck at doing that yourself? It%u2019s true!

Another cool car accessory is a GPS. The GPS is amazing, it can even talk and tell you when to take a turn and even let you know that you missed a turn and will plan an alternate route from there. They also show hotspots like local restaurants and popular attractions and such.

Probably my favorite of all the car accessories is the right stereo and speakers. This takes some research to get the right components for the car and its acoustics, but you have available to you in today%u2019s marketplace some of the most awesome of stereos. Car speakers can even have surround sound which is really cool if you have a DVD player all "tricked out" on your console. It all depends on how much you want to spend and how much bass or treble you want (according to your musical genre tastes). Do you want a multi CD player also? And how about a remote?

Trick out your ride with the exterior, interior, or sound system. On the other hand, if you don%u2019t care so much about the looks of your car or truck, you might use car accessories more for performance sake. The cool thing is it%u2019s entirely up to you to decide!
